Grad School Here We Come!

It's official! After so much preparation, Brian found out today that he got accepted into the W.P. Carey School of Business where he will complete his Master's Degree! How exciting is that!! I'm so proud of him and I know he will do awesome in his classes. He starts school August 19th! Crazy huh! This means that I will have to try extra hard to be a good mom, because he'll be gone Tuesday and Thursdays until 10pm! Ya, it's okay. (That's what I'm telling myself!) Ha! No really, I know long term it will be soooo worth it. Okay, I think I'm starting to stress a little..... but that's just how I am! Anyway, wish Brian luck with this new chapter of his life!

Eyebrows

This was a conversation me and Logan had the other day:

Logan: "What awe (are) dose (those) mommy?" (pointint to my eyebrows, and smoothing them out)
Me: "They're eyebrows."
Logan: "Oooh dey (they're) nice."
Me: "Well thanks!"
Logan: "Can I have dose?"
Me: "You already have some."
Logan: "No I don't, not like yours. Yous awe nice. I like dem mommy."
Me: "Okay, well thanks Logan."

He's obsessed with my eyebrows now. Every day he tells me how nice they are and how pretty I am. What a sweet boy!

Brian's B-day

Last Sunday, okay I guess 2 Sundays ago, was Brian's birthday! He's 27 years old now! And seriously, he just gets more and more handsome! I am so lucky to have an amazing husband, and best friend. We went to the batting cages on the Saturday before, and lunch and Joe's BBQ and then shopped at Chandler Mall, and I actually got a lot of stuff! How sweet is Brian that he buys ME stuff on HIS birthday! Ya, that's just the kind of man he is! Anywho, we had so much fun and I love Brian so much!

More on the cake!

Here's the cake pictures that me and Emily made! I made 3 layers and she made 3. It was really good, but seriously overwhelming after like 5 bites. I love sugar and I couldn't even finish a small sliver! It was super fun though!

Demi Lovato Concert!

Brian scored practically front row tickets last week for the Demi Lovato/David Archuleta concert! I wasn't going to go at first, but I decided what the heck! We had great seats, I could almost touch the singers! The concert was a ton of fun! I didn't know any of the songs but they are both super talented singers, even if they are 15 years old!! Hahaha, I know it was a little immature, but I took Trina and her friend and my mom, so that made up for it!! It was fun!

Jaxon's love/hate relationship with the vacuum cleaner

Jaxon chases the vacuum around, and loves it afterit's on, but is terrified of it when it first turns on. We thought it was hilarious. We are horrible and seriously kept turning it on and off just to see him runup to it and then away!

Independence Day!

I Love the fourth of July! We had a BBQ with my family and let the boys play in the kiddie pools outside. We played games and made homemade ice cream, and me and Emily made an AWESOME 6 layer rainbow cake! I saw it on Chira's blog and I had to do it! It was really yummy! We watched fireworks at the Rockin R Ranch, and Logan was so exhausted from all the fun that he fell asleep literally 30 seconds after we got back in the car! We had so much fun! And I'm so blessed to be an American. We ROCK!!

Tonight Logan named his pet Binnie (Guinea) Pig "Zue-wai-yoo." He came up with it all on his own! Then Brian wrapped his Binnie Pig to his belly with a scarf! So weird!


Brian tied a bandanna thing around Jaxon's head, and Jaxon didn't even care! Then all three of the boys started singing, "I'm a King, I'm a king I'm a king!!!"




Jaxon fell asleep in the jumper the other night!

Oh yeah, I got a new calling, Asst. Compassionate Services Leader. So now between Brian being EQP and me in this calling, I think we are officially BUSY! It's okay though, we need the blessings!
