Cute Boys!

I have been playing with Photoshop again! I learned a new technique! I figured out how to blur or distort a certain part of a photograph but not the whole picture. I blurred this picture of Logan with the wooden train that we made together. I think it's pretty cool! Oh ya, the train..... we bought some kits from Michaels a while ago for a dollar a piece and we make one with Logan every now and then. They are just little wooden things, and Logan likes to help do it. The train was the first one I did, and for some stupid reason we didn't paint it until after we glued it together (that was my idea). Ya, I was definitely thinking backwards that day!
The other pictures I don't think I did anything too. I just wanted to brag about my handsome boys. Jaxon looked so cute today after church, that I just had to snap a few shots! (With my lousy camera..... I know!)
so Brian is still out of town, in Texas, visiting his cousin Blaine, and I survived through church today, by myself! I actually got lectured from an old couple in my ward about how I need to attend Sunday School, instead of walking around the halls with Jaxon. Seriously, I couldn't believe it. So offended (of course). But I resisted the immediate desire to get the heck out of there and I stayed until church was over. I definitely felt better after that. Anyway, Brian is getting home tomorrow night, and seriously, I miss him so much and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Zoo!

Yesterday we decided to face the sun and head to the Zoo. ..... WHAT WERE WE THINKING??????? It was only 105 degree yesterday, and it was kind of cloudy, so I thought it would be okay if we got there early..... It was fun, but we only lasted 2 hours and were drenched in sweat! We got to feed the giraffes though, and it was really cool! We were literally face to face with the "raffes" as Logan says. Logan held out a piece of lettuce and it's long purple tongue stretched out, wrapped itself around the lettuce and pulled it back in his mouth! It was creepy. Anywho, we had lots of fun. Thanks to Emily for taking pictures, because my camera sucks and I forgot it! Emily saved the day though and took pictures for us! Thanks EM!! The water play area is really cool. Logan went down the slide a few times and had fun running through the water. Jaxon crawled right over a fountain while it was off, and it popped up right in his face! It startled him but shook it off and was just as happy as can be! Overall, I'm glad we went, however, I don't think I'll go again until it cools down! So probably September!

Last few days...

Jaxon has been trying to walk all over lately. We had a last minute BBQ at my parents house the other night, just me and the boys, Trina, mom, Travis, Emily and their boys. We got a little baby pool, and had yummy food. Then Jaxon pushed this walker Hippo and Logan decided to get a free ride. He sat down and tried to ride off on it while Jaxon was walking! It was a fun night!

Jaxon is not even 9 months old yet and he has been standing on his own and he even took a step! He'll just stand up in the middle of the room completely by himself and then sit back down and crawl away! He's getting more teeth and has been super cranky. Oh ya, did I mention that he has a slight allergy to milk and eggs? I don't even give him milk and eggs yet, but when I drink milk or eat eggs it doesn't sit well with him, because it goes through my milk. Wierd huh. But I've been giving him probiotics and I think it's helping! He just started eating green beans and he LOVES them! He still doesn't like sweet potatoes, but still loves anything sweet (ice cream, popsicles thanks to Logan, apples, pears, bananas...) And he loves pretty much anything he can get his hands on. He does this growl thing around the house now, it's really funny... He seriously wil be playing and I'll hear "RRRRRRAaaaaaaaa rra ddddaa dddaaaaa ddaaa mamamamamamamamamamaaaaaa gggrrraaaaa!" It's so cute. He has a raspy voice to so it's really funny. Oh yeah, I finally made him a blanket! It turned out pretty cute! He loves it! And he's starting to go to bed now at the same time each night... I finally started putting him to bed and MAKING him go to bed. He usually sleeps through the night, but every oncein a while he wakes up and wants to cuddle. He's a doll, what can I say??? He's asleep right now, that's why I love him so much!!! :) JK!

Swim Lessons

Logan started swim lessons on Monday. He's in a class with 2 other kids and I'm NOT in the water with him. He's doing soooo good! He's remembering everything from last summer and he's already floating on his back and jumping in the water and swimming to the side! He cried the whole first lesson but today and yesterday he didn't shed a tear! He is such a big boy and I'm so proud of him! What a cutie!!

This is what I did while the boys were taking their naps today..... Real Productive! By the way, if you didn't notice, I made Logan's eyes in color, and I enhanced the color of his eyes and made the rest black and white. What do you think?

Logan is silly!

Logan says the funniest things every day, I swear! He's such a silly kid. Here are some of the latest silly things he does:
The other day we were outside and it was super windy, and Logan said "Mommy, it's really windy! Turn the wind off! Mommy turn the wind off mommy!"
Logan got a new turtle hat, which he LOVES so much, he lost it in Wal-Mart!
Logan tells us stories before he goes to bed, about the "3 bears, uh no I mean the 3 snakes, or no, the 3 tigers..." He goes through the whole story of the 3 bears and changes the animals every time!
He has been singing a song about me lately, it goes something like this: "I love my mommy sooooo much! And she's so so so schepal (special) to me. She loves me vewy much, and she's really pretty! She's my mommy!" This is definitely one of the highlights of my day when he sings it to me, unfortunately it's usually after he's been in trouble!
Logan thinks it's perfectly okay to pee everywhere and anywhere. He just whips it out anytime he's outside and starts peeing! I guess he's all boy!
Tonight Logan hit his head and told Brian he wants a new head..... "I want a daddy head"
He walks around the house talking and acting like a piwate (pirate).
I feel like there's more, but I can't remember right now. It's daily with him, but we love him!

Playing Catch Up!

I'm playing a little catch up with my blog right now. I have been so bad at blogging lately. Since our computers were not working, I haven't got back into the habit, but lots of things have been going on! It has actually been really busy.
Me and the boys have kicked off summer with the start of Summer Movie Fun! It's 10 kids movies for $7 at the movie theatres! So cheap, and fun..... well, we pretend it's fun! Ha! No it is actually fun, but it's hard for me with the boys by myself, because without a doubt they always start freaking out about 2/3 into the movie, and both at the same time! But it's good practice for Logan and he really likes it! He loves his girlfriends that come with us, Madi, and sometimes Shea. He's already asking for them! It's super fun for me after the movie because I get to hang out with Heather, and sometimes Chelsey! Those girls are probably my best friends. I seriously love you gals!
We have been swimming a lot! Logan swims with floaties and LOVES it! He's starting to swim by himself again too. We're going to do swim lessons again, I just don't know when!
Jaxon just went to the doctor for his ongoing diaper rash, that he has had for about 5 months now! I'm not even kidding. I have asked the doctor about it every single time we go in, but they always said it's yeast..... Well the other day, Heather said, "He doesn't have empatigo does he?" I asked her what it was and she had no idea, but knew it was bad! LOL!!! We both laughed, and then I googled it later that night. He TOTALLY HAS THAT! I took him in and insisted to them that it was not yeast, and the doctor said, ya, that looks like Empatigo! So a new prescription, and the rash is gone!!! It's so exciting, and I feel so bad for Jaxon, that he has had this horrible rash for seriously months now. It's so sad, and he's already so much happier! Oh yeah, and he's almost walking! He's pulling himself up on the furniture and walking around the couches. This picture is him climbing up the slide at the playground in front of the doctor's office! Ya, he's totally climbing up stairs and everything! This kid is FEARLESS!!

I performed my jazz dance with my mom a few weeks ago! It was so much fun! And I totally messed up, but I don't think most people noticed! HA! But it was fun to do that again, and I'm glad I got to do it with my momma! She's the best!
I have been busy with Enrichment lately, we just had our quarterly activity, and a new leader, so it was super crazy! Oh yeah, and did I mention that Brian has a new calling..... ELDERS QUORUM PRESIDENT!!!! Seriously???? I can't even believe it He's super busy with that ALL the TIME and I don't know how my best friends Chira and Tina ever survived being the wife of EQP! It's hard, but I know he's needed here and is doing an awesome job.... And I actually feel like we've been super blessed because of it. I definitely feel the extra patience and support I have been blessed with, and its a great experience! I'm so thankful, I just have so much more respect/prayers for, the women who are married to men in these types of positions!

Okay, if you think that's weird, I just wanted to remind myself that I ALWAYS want to be with my family. And it is really amazing that we can. I am so thankful for that. I love my family and sometimes I just need to be reminded how special that is.
