Walk-about

Last saturday we went for a little walk through our neighborhood.
We saw some ponies. Jaxon was kinda freaked out when they came right up to him and started sniffing his shoes!

Then he was sad when they walked away.

Then we saw a big horse.

And we took a picture on the way home.

The End.

A Picnic!

Brian took the day off a few weeks ago and we had a picnic by the Salt River! Here's what we did:

We sat close to the river.
Mommy tried to take a cute posed picture of us. That didn't work out too well.

Mommy put me up in a scary tree... I didn't like it at all.

Daddy took a horribly unflattering picture of Mommy and us, and her belly.

We played in the dirt!

We looked for fish and learned all about weeds and plants.

Daddy played with us!

Logan waved to the camera.

The boys climbed trees.
We got a closer look at the water.

Daddy let me try to grab the fishys one more time.
Then we got tired and went home!
The End.

White Tank Mountains

In February, while Brian was at school seriously every day of my life, my parents took pity on me and we went for a Saturday morning hike in the White Tank Mountains. It was a beautiful little hike! We hiked about a mile up, to see a waterfall, then turned around. It was a little tricky to see the waterfall, so I let my dad and mom take Logan back there. Check out the pictures, there was some serious rock climbing for a couple of "Senior Citizens" and a 3-year-old! Hehehe, just kidding mom and dad! Anyway, it was great fun. Thanks parents!

Jaxon and his favorite Uncle, Troy

Logan and Grandma

Grandpa and Jaxon..... I told my dad to smile in this picture, and he said, "I AM!"

Trina, being Trina

Logan already getting annoyed at my picture-taking!

Jaxon walk-running, up the trail. When he "runs" which is more like a really fast walk, he swings his arms really fast, hoping that it will speed up his feet. It's super funny.

Troy and Logan. Look at Logan's face! What's up with that??

Yes, I carried Logan UPHILL on my back! (Okay, only until my dad saw me)

Jaxon looking at the little pond from the waterfall. He kept trying to go swimming in it! Oh and there's nothing wrong with his cheek here, there's just a kiss mark from Grandma!

Okay, so this is where you had to climb if you wanted to see the waterfall. So I didn't climb this, I just stayed back with Jaxon and watched my parents and Logan climb this. That was enough adventure for me!

Seriously, kinda scary for two senior citizens and a three-year-old, ROCK CLIMBING!

But as you can see, they all made it back safely. Once again, I told my dad to smile here... He was annoyed with me taking pictures at this point!

After Logan's "Rock climbing" experience, he felt very confident in his climbing skills. He climbed almost every rock on the way back! Then he would get to the top and say, "Hey look at me mommy! Take a picture! I'm a good climber!"

Is this a Grandpa Davis/Daddy face, or what?! It so reminds me of one of their faces they make!

And if Logan did it, OF COURSE, Jaxon could do it... Or should I say at least had to try!

There's that look again!

Logan standing tall on a rock, oh so proud of himself.

One big happy family!

Good Bye February!

Have I seriously not blogged all month? Holy Cow. Well, February was a dreadfully slow, but fast at the same time month. Brian took an elective class which meant he was gone Mon, Wed until 10:30pm sometimes later, and All day saturdays. Plus, Tues and Thur he met up with his groups for projects several times. So for me, it was a difficult month. I feel for the single mommas out there, or moms who have their husbands gone all the time. I can't live like that! Anyway, back in January we went on a little hike. It was a beautiful day. We have been loving the outdoors! The pics tell the story!

There was a cute little playground right by the trail.... So of course we had to stop there for a while!

Logan kept stopping and drawing "maps" in the dirt... Planning out where we were going to go next on our hike.

I convinced Brian that it would make for cute pictures if he went down the slide too! hehehe, I'm bad, I know!

Jaxon playing with Daddy before we left, on top of the van.

Okay, so it totally looks like we just went to a playground. But we didn't! We went on this little 1 mile stroller-friendly hike at Usery Pass. Not too far from us, and it was a beautiful day. Logan learned about the holes in the cactus, and bird's nests, and all kinds of wildlife things that Brian told him... Because you all know I know NOTHING about the outdoors. We had such a great time, Logan keeps talking about that one time when we went on a hike!
