Nap time naptime, who doesn't love naptime????

A few weeks ago I put the boys in their room to take a nap, and they woke up like this. I'm not sure they actually slept at all, and this explains why they were so quite. They put lotion all over themselves, their room, and their hair. And again, these pictures are not edited, I don't have the time.

San Diego

I took the kids to San Diego in March and we had a blast... Other than the fact that I almost died on the drive up there. In the mountains before Alpine, CA the road has two lanes going the same direction and on the other side of the mountain the road goes the opposite direction. So I'm driving in the fast lane going about 70mph and I turn a blind corner in the mountains and there is a man in a red car coming straight for me! We came so close to colliding that I could see the expression on his face. I didn't even check if there was anyone by me and I swerved to the right and barely missed him and almost flipped my van by swerving so fast. I really thought I was going to die. It was the scariest thing that's ever happened to me. I kept like hitting myself to see if that was really happening or not. I looked back and saw the guy still driving the wrong way. There was no where to pull over. I called 911 and the operator said there had been several reports of that guy, and there was someone on his way already. Luckily we were okay.

Once we got to San Diego everything was great. We had a fantastic time just hanging out with the family. And I think Brian enjoyed being home by himself! Here's some pictures we took. By the way, these are completely unedited if you were wondering..... I don't have time to do it and I just wanted to at least get these up! The last picture is Logan holding up a snail..... There were tons of snails in Grandma's garden and the boys had a blast playing with the snails. Sick.

St. Patrick's Day

I made these shirts with my new Silhouette! I love that machine! It's amazing. We were in San Diego for St. Patty's day and Rhonda made an amazing, Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage and potatoes. She's a great cook! Anyway, I just took these pictures of the boys with my phone and wanted to show these shirts off!

Baby Renesme

Sadie's top teeth grew in kinda funky, so I had to document it before her middle top teeth grew in. Which by the way, her top right middle just broke through the gums the day I took these, but you can't really see it yet.

And doesn't this remind you if that old ad for the army or something like that?
Basically, this is what we do for fun!

Jacobs Birthday Party

Way back in January Jacob had a birthday party playdate at the park. The boys had so much fun playing with their cousin Jacob. Jacob ran non-stop the whole time I think! Such a fun day.

The Many Sides of Sadie at Seven Months

It's been way too long since I have updated about my kids... So here's what's new with Sadie:

She has the BIGGEST, blue-est, sparkliest, eyes. And amazing dimples in both cheeks.
She is so stinking happy! She loves to cuddle and give lovies to mommy!
She actually keeps her headbands on most of the time. (Probably because I MAKE her). She is a chunky monkey! She's over 18 pounds, and in the 75% for  height and weight, while her head is in the 20%! I'm pretty sure that if they counted her cheeks in that measurement, her head would be in the 90%!
She has rolls galore! I LOVE her chubby legs. So soft and squishy! She's still mostly nursing, I try to give her baby food every day but she still doesn't like it, and only takes a few bites. She ate the sweet potatoes and butternut squash the best so far.... She doesn't like the sweet stuff. Hopefully she will keep up that habbit!
She usually sleeps through the night. Maybe once a week she gets up in the night, and I just give in and get her. Ya, I know, that's bad....whatever!

She has four teeth! Two on the bottom, and two on the top sides, not the canines but not the middle ones either, just in between those. And the top middle ones are coming soon.

She loves to get around. This is her favorite pose.... The splits! She almost always sits like this around the house when she's playing. Do I see dancing in her future???

She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth right now. She wants to try everything I'm holding and she has eaten several paper scraps on the floor. I try to keep it vacuumed but she still manages to get stuff here and there!

Oh ya, and did I mention that she is officially crawling? Ya, she's all over the place. She also loves to lay on her back and play with her feet. She just started babbling and saying "a blab blab bla blah blah" and "maaa maaa maaaa maaaa". She's adorable and we love her soooooo stinking much!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas was wonderful this year, as always. We were in San Diego with Brian's family and had such a great time being with them.... I was asked this year while we were out there if I miss being with my family around Christmas, and I honestly answered that I miss the Davis family when they're not around, and that they're my family too. I am so grateful for in-laws that love me and treat me like their own and who love and adore my kids. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa San Diego, Uncle Jordan, Aunt Meaghen, and Uncle Jimmy for making this year a truly special one!
Here are some pictures I have been meaning to post for a while! Here we go:

                                    Grover Family Thanksgiving Day
Before it got too cold outside, I took this picture of the boys.

Santa made a special visit to the Davis home, just to see these 3 kids..... The pictures tell how the visit went...
Logan, not so sure of Santa. Wouldn't go near him, just stared.

I think this series was my favorite part of the whole night! That look is PRICELESS!

 Christmas day, at the park.
 My gorgeous sister-in-law, Meaghen.
My ridiculous children, who won't smile when we want them to!
Davis Family, minus the Downs clan and a few pets. (Sorry Rhonda, this picture was super noisy/blurry. It was too dark when I took it, so it didn't come out very good.)
Grandma helping Logan on his new big boy bike!
Us, at Mission Bay the day after Christmas.

I hope you had a great Christmas and new year!
