All About Jaxon

A few things Jaxon does..... He's almost 2 and I haven't done a very good job at tracking his growth. So here's a little catching up.
*Instead of yes, he says, "YAY:
*He pokes his little head right in front of mine and asks, "doin?" For what are you doing?
*He LOVES his daddy, Troy, Blanky and his doggy.
*He calls Logan "Uhgin"
*He jumps up and down!
*Sleeps in a big boy bed.
*Tries to do everything Logan does.
*He throws a ball or toy in the air really fast and says "aiypane" (airplane).
He's just a little cutie and we love him!

San Diego Temple

Don't you just love the San Diego Temple? Brian took this picture for me while we were out there a few weeks ago. I wanted to get some pictures of it from across the freeway, but I wasn't tall enough to shoot over the fence, so Brian had to do it. He did a great job! He even did the editing! (With my help of course!) I can't wait to get it blown up nice and big and framed!

Sneak Peek for Lillian

I just did a photoshoot of my cousin's newest little boy. I think he looks so much like his daddy, and his little blue eyes are BEAUTIFUL! He's such a cutie! I hope you like them Lillian!

They can be such little angels

Sometimes my kids are so good! I put Sadie on the floor on a blanket the other day and went to the bathroom. When I came back the boys were laying down with her, watching tv, being SUPER SWEET! (Which can be rare!) I LOVE these kids. It's times like this that make the messy times worth it!

Sadie's Blessing

My Grandma Green made me a dress similar to this one when I was a little girl, and I remember LOVING that dress. So when my grandma made this dress for Sadie's blessing, I was so thrilled to have it. It was beautiful, and I could not have been happier to have such a treasure from my grandma! It was a beautiful day, Brian gave her the sweetest blessing. And unlike my father during my blessing, he didn't forget her name! :) We love you Sadie, and know that you have an amazing life ahead of you!

Birth Story

Sadie is crying right now, so here's my story with her in a nutshell! So, this is for my own memory, and in case Sadie is curious as to how she entered the world someday!!! So, I had been dilated to a 3 for about since I was about 37 weeks along, and stayed there. I have never dilated at all before I was in actual labor with my boys, so I thought I would go into labor any day and have her. I ended up at my 39 week check up and my doctor said he couldn't induce me until friday morning. There was NO way I was going to wait until Friday to have her, so I asked my doctor what I could do. He had already stripped my membranes twice! He told me that if I got my contractions going and went to the hospital he would make sure I delivered. So I took black and blue cohosh, and walked aroud the mall to stimulate contractions then literally speed-walked into the hospital. Of course they stopped and I almost went home, but my doctor was amazing and told the nurses to admit me because I had fast labors..... which was a total lie! So they admitted me, started me on the IV and penicillin, because I was Group B Strep positive, and around 12:30 the doctor broke my water. Then I went walking, and at 1:30am I got the epidurral and started pitocin. Then at 4 I started pushing, and in 2 easy pushes, she was out.... no episiotomy, no major pushing, she almost came out on her own! It was such a great experience. The after labor was painful, more so than the actual labor. But she cried immediately and latched on right away, and was just a beautiful little girl! She's almost 2 months old now and weighs 10lbs 2 oz, she's just the cutest little thing ever! She smiles here and there, and is very alert and looks around all the time. I can't get enough of her!

Say Cheese!

My sister Tracy was in town a few weeks ago with her kids, and of course I had to snap some pictures! Logan had so much fun playing with Dusty (7) and Anna (5). He kept asking to play with his cousins! It was so cute!

I also got to take some pictures of my newest nephew, Hudson Lee Grover. He's such a little cutie and slept the whole time! I did the pics in my garage and it was so hot, so they could have been better, but I tried!
