Playing with Photoshop

This is what I did while the boys were taking their naps today..... Real Productive! By the way, if you didn't notice, I made Logan's eyes in color, and I enhanced the color of his eyes and made the rest black and white. What do you think?

Logan is silly!

Logan says the funniest things every day, I swear! He's such a silly kid. Here are some of the latest silly things he does:
The other day we were outside and it was super windy, and Logan said "Mommy, it's really windy! Turn the wind off! Mommy turn the wind off mommy!"
Logan got a new turtle hat, which he LOVES so much, he lost it in Wal-Mart!
Logan tells us stories before he goes to bed, about the "3 bears, uh no I mean the 3 snakes, or no, the 3 tigers..." He goes through the whole story of the 3 bears and changes the animals every time!
He has been singing a song about me lately, it goes something like this: "I love my mommy sooooo much! And she's so so so schepal (special) to me. She loves me vewy much, and she's really pretty! She's my mommy!" This is definitely one of the highlights of my day when he sings it to me, unfortunately it's usually after he's been in trouble!
Logan thinks it's perfectly okay to pee everywhere and anywhere. He just whips it out anytime he's outside and starts peeing! I guess he's all boy!
Tonight Logan hit his head and told Brian he wants a new head..... "I want a daddy head"
He walks around the house talking and acting like a piwate (pirate).
I feel like there's more, but I can't remember right now. It's daily with him, but we love him!

Playing Catch Up!

I'm playing a little catch up with my blog right now. I have been so bad at blogging lately. Since our computers were not working, I haven't got back into the habit, but lots of things have been going on! It has actually been really busy.
Me and the boys have kicked off summer with the start of Summer Movie Fun! It's 10 kids movies for $7 at the movie theatres! So cheap, and fun..... well, we pretend it's fun! Ha! No it is actually fun, but it's hard for me with the boys by myself, because without a doubt they always start freaking out about 2/3 into the movie, and both at the same time! But it's good practice for Logan and he really likes it! He loves his girlfriends that come with us, Madi, and sometimes Shea. He's already asking for them! It's super fun for me after the movie because I get to hang out with Heather, and sometimes Chelsey! Those girls are probably my best friends. I seriously love you gals!
We have been swimming a lot! Logan swims with floaties and LOVES it! He's starting to swim by himself again too. We're going to do swim lessons again, I just don't know when!
Jaxon just went to the doctor for his ongoing diaper rash, that he has had for about 5 months now! I'm not even kidding. I have asked the doctor about it every single time we go in, but they always said it's yeast..... Well the other day, Heather said, "He doesn't have empatigo does he?" I asked her what it was and she had no idea, but knew it was bad! LOL!!! We both laughed, and then I googled it later that night. He TOTALLY HAS THAT! I took him in and insisted to them that it was not yeast, and the doctor said, ya, that looks like Empatigo! So a new prescription, and the rash is gone!!! It's so exciting, and I feel so bad for Jaxon, that he has had this horrible rash for seriously months now. It's so sad, and he's already so much happier! Oh yeah, and he's almost walking! He's pulling himself up on the furniture and walking around the couches. This picture is him climbing up the slide at the playground in front of the doctor's office! Ya, he's totally climbing up stairs and everything! This kid is FEARLESS!!

I performed my jazz dance with my mom a few weeks ago! It was so much fun! And I totally messed up, but I don't think most people noticed! HA! But it was fun to do that again, and I'm glad I got to do it with my momma! She's the best!
I have been busy with Enrichment lately, we just had our quarterly activity, and a new leader, so it was super crazy! Oh yeah, and did I mention that Brian has a new calling..... ELDERS QUORUM PRESIDENT!!!! Seriously???? I can't even believe it He's super busy with that ALL the TIME and I don't know how my best friends Chira and Tina ever survived being the wife of EQP! It's hard, but I know he's needed here and is doing an awesome job.... And I actually feel like we've been super blessed because of it. I definitely feel the extra patience and support I have been blessed with, and its a great experience! I'm so thankful, I just have so much more respect/prayers for, the women who are married to men in these types of positions!

Families are Forever

Okay, if you think that's weird, I just wanted to remind myself that I ALWAYS want to be with my family. And it is really amazing that we can. I am so thankful for that. I love my family and sometimes I just need to be reminded how special that is.

Logan's 3rd Birthday!

Today is Logan's 3rd birthday! I can't even believe it! He's such a sweet little boy, and I can hardly believe he's already three years old! It makes me kind of sad, but he's so stinkin cute, it makes up for how fast he's growing! I love him SOOOOO much. Pretty much everyone that meets Logan loves him. He's just one of those special kids that you can't help but adore. We had a birthday party yesterday at Freestone park for him, and it was a BLAST!!! Lots of our family and friends came, okay, let's see if I can name everyone!

I think that's it. Logan got lots of really cool presents and most important, he had so much fun playing and visiting with all his friends! Jaxon was super happy, and even got a fistful of cake! He had so much fun he totally fell asleep in his carseat! I guess the party was just too much for him! We had pizza, snow cones, cake, and a yummy salsa that Emily made.
Logan is talking in full complete sentences now! He's so smart and picks up on EVERYTHING! He definitely keeps me on my toes. Did I mention he LOVES to talk! He also loves cars and balls. He likes to wrestle with Jaxon and Daddy. He definitely favors Daddy over Mommy, but I would too if I were him. He sings his ABC's in the car and tells me not to get mad at his little brother. (That's another story!) I am so lucky to have Logan as my first son, and I love him sooooo much! Happy Birthday Logan!

Vacation!

This is going to be quick! Our desktop computer is totally jacked with viruses and it won't even turn on. Our laptop works fine but Logan has a horrible oral fixation and chewed through the power cord that charges it! Brian tried to fix it and it only worked for a while. It's totally broken now! So I'm using my mom's computer and here's a quick update. We had a BLAST in San Diego! We went to Disneyland and Logan was so happy! He was seriously in over-stimulation mode the whole time! IT was cute! He loved Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean. He also loved the parades and dance parties. We had so much fun with the Davis family! Logan tried to feed the fish for the next 2 years and unfortunately killed a few in the process. It was sad, but don't tell him that he did it!!! We had a BBQ with the whole family and Logan got to blow out a candle and make a wish, which he keeps talking about! Anywho, the new van was so fun to drive! Oh ya, I got a Kia Sedona, and I LOVE it! Brian loved driving it! Anywho, we're all good and happy and ready to get back to life!

Car Shopping

So this past week has been full of car dealers, making phone calls, driving out to the middle of no where, test driving, pulling out cash, cashing checks, making more phone calls..... and we have one car out of it so far!!! Brian found a 2002 Honda Accord with 70,000mi for a REALLY good price, I mean REALLY good. It's a 2 door, so now we HAVE to get another car for me, because my van that we have right now will not make it to San Diego next week. I'm looking at a few used Nissan Quests and Dodge Caravans, but no luck yet. I test drove a beautiful van last night, but the price was too high. I know we will find something good, I just HATE looking for it!!! It's even harder trying to test drive with the boys, LOL! It's actually pretty amusing to see us at the dealer. I wonder what people must think of us.
Oh so the other issue is that the checks from Progressive have not cleared our bank and won't be released until next Friday! (We're supposed to leave for San Diego on Thursday) and we need the cash to pay for Brian's car, and to put down on mine! AAAHHHHH! Brian is so frustrated with everything right now, I'm just a tad stressed out, but excited too. I can't wait to write my next post about my new van! Well, until then, I'm going to continue running around like a chicken with my head cut off!
